RentAdvance example
- You are currently receiving $6,000 a month from your tenant.
- You have urgent repairs on your property and need access to $30,000, which is equivalent to five months rent.
- You look at your cash flow and decide you need at least $3,000 a month coming in from your tenant which means you can afford $3,000 a month to repay the RentAdvance.
- This means that over the next 12 months, you will retain $3,200 a month while repaying $2,500 a month towards the $30,000, plus a monthly service fee of $300.
- The total cost of receiving the lump sum is $3,600 ($300 x 12 months) which is equal to 12% on the lump sum or just over 2 weeks rent.
The details
To receive the lump sum, you will be required to enter into an agreement with PropPay, the provider of the funds.
